Beautiful scenery and right the house is great for big group. Room on suite is very convenient. Lynette was great and super helpful.

We loved the communication with the Hostess Lynette, she was prompt in her responses to the questions we had. We got to the house and were wowed with how beautiful the place is. The house had everything, the pool was amazing, and the hot-tub was loved by everyone. We loved the size of the kitchen with an amazing refrigerator, ice-maker and even a nespresso machine. The entertainment room downstairs, snooker table, foosball and table tennis were enjoyed by all. Check-in and Check-out of the facility was a breeze. The Housekeeping was also great and punctual. We also enjoyed the company of the peacocks, they really kept the young one's entertained.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Wonderful to be in nature, surrounded by beauty- food for your soul. Cottage very neat and has everything you need! Wonderful for memorable family time, whether you want to sit at the pool, near the braai, fire pit or on the wooden deck. Thank you also for being pet friendly! Time just went by too fast; it was way too short!

A hidden gem in a fantastic quiet sanctuary, surrounded by nature and its glory. Perfect place for a peaceful retreat with family or friends. Generous house, well equipped with everything you need. Host was always available to guide and assist with directions and pin locations. Animals at your doorstep. Will be back.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Rock Cottage in Mabalingwe, and it was truly one of the most beautiful and special places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, the Hostess, Lynette, made us feel so welcome with all the little extra gestures that went above and beyond. The cottage itself is stunning, beautifully designed with a great layout, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and set in the perfect location for game drives and other activities. The private entertainment area, pool, and breathtaking views made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. It was peaceful, private, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. One of the highlights was that we were able to bring along our two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Golden Retriever, who loved it just as much as we did. The fact that it was pet-friendly made our stay even more special. The service was exceptional throughout. Our hostess was absolutely lovely, and Emma, who brought us the cutest, beautifully laid-out breakfasts every morning, was such a delight to chat and laugh with as we started our day. These small touches made such a big difference and really made us feel at home. We loved it so much that we even extended our stay, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Rock Cottage is now one of our new favourites, and we would recommend it wholeheartedly to any family planning a trip to Mabalingwe. We will definitely be back again!
